#3071, "statements"

we have 2 stores, when doing statements the remit address is the main store by default on the statements. we would like to have each store's customers mail payments to the store where they do business at. we have crystal reports and can change the address but do not know where v8 stores the report so we can accesses it and customize it with our logo and each location or is it a report that is not accessible?
Or did any one make their own crystal report for statements?

thanks
john

Hi John,

Like all reports except PS forms, the statement report files are stored in TopLevel / System / Reports.

There are actually three different report files and you're using one of these three depending on your statement type. The three files are:

- AR Statement by Doc.rpt
- AR Statement by Grp.rpt
- AR Statement by Grp Omit Fully Paid Docs.rpt

To determine which report you're actually using, open the statement printing form. Once you have everything set to the way you normally run statements, right-click on the form title. The last line of the context-sensitive menu will indicate which Crystal report will be used.

You can also follow a similar procedure (clicking on the form title) to determine the Crystal filename of any other report you're running.

Hope this helps.
Robyn

thanks robyn

I found them and changed it to include logo and address per location. I do see where you can see the code and what report it is using
odd thing that ncr would not include Crystal reports with the system as they did in v7, I would not go without the ability to change forms

thanks again
john
