#6598, "Help with moving CP data"

Hey guys. I have very little knowledge about cp but a customer of mine uses it and his server has died. I managed to get his hard drive copied so i have all of his data. What I need to do is get cp installed on another computer so he can get in and see a few things. He is moving to another pos system so this will be temporary.

One of my questions is, is there a way to know what version of 7.5 he was using by looking at the data on the hard drive?

also, how can i get it installed on another computer as a standalone and let him get in to see his information?

is this even doable?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Version # I don't know, sorry.

But in theory you should be able to do an install of the version he has and copy the entire CP directory over to the new computer.
